Mitt Romney Calling Out Obama
On the television show The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Romney took fire at many of his foes and competitors. First on the fire list was Rick Santorum. Mitt said that he isn't worried about Santorum and that " When you fall behind, you become more animated." Next on his list was president Obama. Like every other Republican, Mitt began to rip Obama for his open mic comment about Russia and nuclear weapons. Romney then went on to call Russia our number one geopolitical foe. It seems as if Mitt is still living in the 1980s.
Health Care is an attack
Today, Mitt Romney called Obamacare an attack on the American people. In explaining his stance he said "What's happening today in Washington is an attack on free enterprise, an attack on economic freedom unlike anything we have ever seen before." As we all know, I am extremely liberal and I support a system of socialized medicine. However, Obamacare has its flaws. There are many loopholes and the timing of it wasn't great. However, calling it an attack on free enterprise is ridiculous. This bill is being put into place to help keep the people of this nation healthy and well so they can keep contributing to our free enterprise.
Apology Not Good Enough
In november, a NATO airstrike on a Pakistani base killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. This occurred at the low point of relations between America and the Pakistani government. Earlier this week, an apology from the US was issued towards Pakistan. Pakistan is still saying that an apology isn't enough.
I believe that the Pakistanis don't have to except this apology. Even though some shifty things were happening in Pakistan, killing soldiers that have no influence on the real issues just isn't a good move.
Santorum says Bullsh*t
Well, it looks like Rick Santorum has finally met his boiling point with the "liberal" media. Over the weekend, many reporters have supposedly been changing and tampering with his words. In pure frustration, he issued this quote to a reporter "I didn't say that. You guys are distorting what I'm saying … Quit distorting my words. It's bulls***." He has later apologized about his comments, but they will forever live on. What are your thoughts on this comment?
North Korean Missile Project
Today in Pyongyang, North Korean officials are moving a long range missile to the launch pad. This is seen as to only be a test, but people in the political community seem scared. Even though it appeared there was an agreement between North Korea and America to stop nuclear research to get food, this project has continued on. The North Koreans are saying this is testing for the satellite they will be launching in later months.
My opinions on this are opinons of fear. As a nation that has its fair share of haters, it will not be good for our biggest hater to get in a position where real damage may be caused. However, it is their right to test such technologies and space research. For more information on this issue,http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/26/world/asia/korea-obama-visit/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
